Palm Bay Bassmasters ventured to West Lake Toho on windy and cloudy January 5, 2019 for their 2nd tournament of the 2019 season. Brandon Chambliss of Palm Bay showed his stuff, finishing 1st by using a Candy Bug colored, senko style bait, fishing in the junk east of Brown’s Point to catch a 5 fish limit of 12.07lbs, which included the 6.30 lbs big bass of the tournament. Second place went to Brian Cole, of Sebastian with 10.40 lbs, Brian’s primary bait was a Sprayed Grass Naked Swimmer, fishing behind Brown’s Point and third place went to Fred Reed of Palm Bay who fished near the mouth of Gobblet’s Cove using June Bug Paddle tail worms to catch a 5 fish limit of 8.62 lbs. On the team side, 1st place went to Brandon Chambliss and Scott Timney of Palm Bay with 16.35 lbs , 2nd place was taken by Scott Allender of Palm Bay and Rob Gerlaugh of Satellite Beach weighing in a total of 14.06 lbs and 14.03 lbs was enough to reel in 3rd place for Clayton Clark of Palm Bay and Fred Reed.
